Sarigelin Organic Certified High Altitude Honeycomb Honey (2.75 kg)

Honeycomb honey , reaching your tables from the untouched high-altitude plateaus of Erzurum and Eastern Anatolia, represents Anatolia's deep-rooted beekeeping tradition in its purest form. Prepared with beekeeping experience dating back to 1979, honeycomb honey is produced using natural beeswax secreted by worker bees themselves, without the use of artificial foundation combs. The fact that the bees build both the comb and the honey in the same season during the honey flow season gives honeycomb honey a unique texture and rich aroma. For those who want to add a true apitherapy flavor to their tables , honeycomb honey is an unparalleled nutritional source.

What is Karakovan Honey and How Does it Differ?

Honeycomb honey , produced using a traditional method, is the highest quality type of honey, consumed with its natural honeycomb without being filtered. Because worker bees need to consume approximately 15-18 kg of nectar to produce 1 kg of beeswax , honeycomb honey production is quite laborious, limited, and labor-intensive. Thanks to its natural composition , honeycomb honey melts in the mouth without leaving any residue and has a much softer texture compared to standard honeycomb honeys.
